Mobile phone network operator
Celtel has joined hands with Kenya Airways in a marketing partnership to
sell their brands and services in countries where the national airline
operates.
These include Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia,
Malawi, Tanzania, Sudan and recently Sierra Leone.
The marketing activities the two firms are eyeing include advertising by
Celtel on the Kenya Airways' in-flight entertainment service and on
radio channels.
Celtel connections, phones and recharge vouchers will also be sold on
Kenya Airways flights. In return, Celtel staff will travel on the
airline and receive discounts on their air fares.
