During a recent Forum
organized by Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications Company in Dubai, XSAT
was awarded the Bronze Airtime Growth 2005 Award by Thuraya.
XSAT is one of
Thuraya’s International Service
Providers (ISP’s) and has been in operation since 2002. In a relatively
short period of time, it has become a top ten service provider for
Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications Company. XSAT maintains offices in
Georgia, USA, and in Dubai UAE, from where it liaises with Thuraya, and
manages sales in the Middle East and Africa.
During a recent Forum organized by Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications
Company in Dubai, XSAT was awarded the Bronze Airtime Growth 2005 Award
by Thuraya. This means that XSAT was responsible for the third highest
airtime growth in 2005, a very significant achievement of which XSAT is
very proud.
XSAT believes that receiving this award is a tribute not only to the
growth of the company but also to the dedication and hard work of its
staff. It is totally dedicated to give its customers the best total
service possible and it is because of their business and their
confidence in us that it was given this award.
As an official ISP for Thuraya, XSAT’s mission is to market and sell its
products and services internationally. Thuraya is a mobile satellite
telecommunications operator based in the UAE that operates in over 110
countries. It offers mobile handsets that combine satellite, GSM and GPS
all in a single unit. Especially the GPS feature may be of interest to
your company. Thuraya also offers satellite payphones and independent
fixed satellite telephones (PCO) in Thuraya's area of coverage which
spans all of Europe as well as most of Africa and Asia.
Using Thuraya telecommunication services, XSAT provides
telecommunications solutions to companies, Government Agencies,
international organizations and individuals located and/or operating in
remote areas. It provides integrated solutions for every specific case,
including voice, fax, data, short messaging and GPS in all Thuraya
phones as standard features. Besides, Thuraya offers value added
services, which are similar to those provided in a GSM mobile phone. In
addition, based on Thuraya technology, the following services can be
made available: monitoring of pipelines, fleet management, remote
surveillance, and aeronautical and maritime telecommunications.
In order to satisfy a growing demand on Iridium phones especially in the
United States, XSAT has expanded its product line and has started
selling Iridium satellite phones in addition to the Thuraya products.
The Iridium System is a satellite-based, wireless personal
communications network providing a robust suite of voice and data
services to virtually any destination anywhere on earth. The Iridium
Satellite System enables remote communication solutions for vertical
markets that include: Maritime, Construction, Aviation, Oil & Gas,
Mining, Government, Leisure Travel, and Disaster Relief Organizations.
Especially with the hurricane season unfortunately coming closer, XSAT
is committed to serve clients in the U.S. and help them prepare for
disasters at very competitive prices.
XSAT’s expansion does not stop here. Very shortly, it will roll out
Inmarsat’s Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN). XSAT USA is committed
to provide its customers with the best possible high speed Internet
access that is available in the market. In order to do so, XSAT will add
the BGAN to the ThurayaDSL Unit. The two systems are complementary in
their functionality and your choice of system depends very much on
customer requirements and desires.
In May 2006, XSAT will announce the creation of an E-Commerce site where
initially VOIP products can be ordered. There are plans to add other
products as well.
